IUPUC hosts workshop for grad students

Columbus residents with a bachelor’s degree, and juniors and seniors enrolled at any higher education institution are invited to attend a free workshop to learn about the benefits of earning a graduate-level degree.

The free workshops will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today or from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in LC room 1400 at the Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave.

At the workshops, those attending will learn about the graduate school application process, entrance exams, financial aid and other community resources available to potential students.

Information about IUPUC’s master’s of arts in mental health counseling and master’s of business administration degrees also will be available.

Presenters at the workshops include Carol Kostrzewsky, IUPUC associate director for the office of career services, Kevin McCarkence, associate director of graduate education and Darrin Carr, clinical assistant professor of psychology and mental health counseling.
