“SWEET DREAMS” A TRIBUTE TO PATSY CLINE, 5:30 to 8 p.m., July 25, Willow Leaves Theatre, 326 Jackson St., Hope. A wonderful and comical tribute to the legendary singer Patsy Cline and her friendship with a Texas housewife, Louise (who is quite a character) and a big fan of hers. WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO? The Where Does Your Money Go? free online program will guide participants through the creation of their spending and savings plan and provide practical resources for them to use in their own lives. The six-module course includes videos, interactive activities, self-assessments and downloadable spending tracking forms. The program is self-paced and can be completed at the viewer’s convenience. Participants should allow approximately four to six weeks to complete the modules and associated activities. After completion of the course, participants will understand how current money management practices affect financial security, how to establish good financial management practices and new habits that create personal financial security. Best practices that will be explored and discussed include identifying spending leaks, categorizing needs vs. wants, tracking expenses and establishing written financial goals. The Balthazar Korab: Photographer of Architecture exhibit continues in Gallery 506, black and white historic photos of iconic Columbus architecture. Avenue of the Architects (Fifth Street), an exhibition by Ball State students in architecture and historic preservation began on July 1. SHARING THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday though Thursday, Bartholomew County Historical Society, 524 Third St., Columbus. The exhibit, designed by RedBox of Chicago, includes a detailed timeline with items from the BCHS collection, a hands-on map table that features maps dating back to the early 1800s, a “notable people” wall and a “then and now/did you know?” carousel full of fun facts. PERCEPTIONS YOGA, MINDFULNESS AND ART GALLERY, 139 E. US, IN-3, Vernon. Through July 31, the gallery space will be filled with work from local artist Marilyn Wathen. Her art show, which she calls “River Life,” is a reflection of life in Jennings County, and more specifically the Muscatatuck River. Her art includes bird and barn paintings as well as driftwood art. On July 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. there will be a “Create a Driftwood Sailboat” workshop. Cost is $40 per participant, which includes all supplies and instruction.
