INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 241 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 751,242 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
To date, 13,375 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 29 from the previous day. Another 420 probable deaths have been reported to date based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.
A total of 3,557,831 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,554,010 on Friday. A total of 10,734,687 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
Bartholomew County reported 8,169 positive tests (up two) with 157 deaths (no change) as of Saturday.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 5,090 positive cases (up one) with 76 deaths (up one).
Jennings County: 2,353 positive cases (no change) with 49 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 2,899 positive cases (no change) with 92 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 5,014 positive cases (up four) with 96 deaths (no change).
Johnson County: 18,471 positive cases (up four) with 389 deaths (up one).
Brown County: 1,042 positive cases (no change) with 43 deaths (no change).

Hoosiers age 12 and older can receive a COVID-19 vaccine; individuals younger than age 18 are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine only. To find a vaccination clinic near you, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted at most sites.
As of Saturday, a total of 5,488,972 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 2,754,523 first doses and 2,734,449 individuals who are fully vaccinated. The fully vaccinated number represents individuals who have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and those who received the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.

Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
