Whiteland dropped only three games in the four contested matches Tuesday in handling Columbus East a 5-0 girls tennis defeat.
Sara Moran fell to Andrea Stephenson 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Emily Zhu lost to Rowan Starns 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and the Olympains (0-6) had to forfeit No. 3 singles.
East’s Zoe White and Lillie Smith fell to Cathy Nguyen and Kinsey Shipp 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Bruna Carriera and Luci Morales lost to Karley Hoagland and Nanjeet Kaur 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
