Jet boys take second, girls third in quad

BATESVILLE — Hauser’s boys finished second and girls third Tuesday in a quad meet at Batesville.

Batesville won the boys meet with 124 points to 61 for the Jets, 40 for North Decatur and 11 for Jac-Cen-Del. Batesville’s girls scored 133 points to 63 for North Decatur, 34 for Hauser and six for Jac-Cen-Del.

For the Jet boys, Luke Bruner won the discus (125 feet, 1 inch), Colin Kistler took the 1,600 meters (4 minutes 52.32 seconds) and Nolan Dailey captured the 3,200 (10:41.34) and finished second in the 1,600 (4:53.74). Sam Taylor took second in the 400 (53.67), Kolton Wallace was second in the 300 hurdles (49.13) and Hauser finished second in the 4×100 (50.34) and 4×400 (3:55.28) relays.

Kennedy Konradi led the Hauser girls with a second-place finish in the 1,600 (6:30.66). The Jets also were second in the 4×400 relay (4:42.03).
