No. 15 Trojans edge No. 6 Bull Dogs

GREENWOOD — Sixth-ranked Columbus North cruised at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots, but No. 15 Center Grove took the other three positions to pull out a 3-2 girls tennis victory on Wednesday.

Kathryn Wilson blanked Sloane Small 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Aya Saad beat Peri Small 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles for the Bull Dogs (4-1).

North’s Lison Cloteaux fell to Emmerson Donaldson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Annabelle Sun and Lucy Bergman lost to Ava Beecher and Lauren Dick 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Grace Conner and Lizzie Bodart fell to Kenna Harbin and Anna Runkle 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
