North boys take fourth in Ben Davis invite

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus North’s boys finished fourth in Friday’s Ben Davis track and field invitational.

Ben Davis won the meet with 111 points. Mooresville finished second with 90, North Central took third with 76 and the Bull Dogs scored 64.

Jonny Klaus finished second in the 1,600 meters (4 minutes, 34.50 seconds), Ben Stevens took second in the 400 (51.67) and Adam Reckers was second in the 3,200 (9:45.78) to lead North.

Third-place finishers for the Bull Dogs were Liam Milne in the 110 hurdles (15.31), Denton Sluder in the 1,600 (4:39.82), Owen Russell in the 300 hurdles (41.45), Liam Glyn-Jones in the 800 (2:08.03) and Matthew Burge in the 200 (23.35). North also was third in the 4,800 (8:42.99), 4×100 (45.06) and 4×400 (3:43.27) relays.
