EDINBURGH — Edinburgh, with the help of HWC Engineering, is creating a new comprehensive plan and residents will be able to share their thoughts on it next week.
A Big Ideas Open House is scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m. May 15 in the cafeteria at Edinburgh Community High School on 300 Keeley St.
The comprehensive plan “will establish a vision for Edinburgh’s future and help guide town officials when making decisions on growth and development in the community,” Genevieve Zircher, planner at HWC Engineering, stated in an email. Over the last month, Genevieve stated that the company has heard from over 430 people, and goals and action items for Edinburgh have been drafted based on public input.
The open house will help confirm the plan is moving in the right direction, she said.
