The Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety on Monday approved two contracts for concrete and paving work on city streets.
The board gave final approval to a contract with Milestone Contractors, L.P. for concrete work in the amount of $233,277 and another with All Star Paving, Inc. for $2.2 million. Both will be paid for in part through the use of Community Crossing Matching Grant Funds (CCMG).
The concrete work Milestone will be undergoing includes:
- Waycross Drive – Jolinda Drive to 300’ west of Jolinda Drive, including removal and replacement of concrete street, plus curb and gutter ($95,808)
- Sandy Hook Drive – Jolinda Drive to 330’ northeast of Jolinda Dr., including removal and replacement of concrete street, plus curb and gutter ($137,469)
The paving work All Star will be providing includes:
- Lafayette Avenue – Second Street to Louisville Indiana Railroad Crossing (300’ south of First Street) ($53,535)
- Westwood Boulevard – State Road 46 to Pine Ridge Drive ($69,778)
- Pine Ridge Drive – Westwood Boulevard to County Road 350W ($182,763)
- Repp Drive – State Road 46 to Kiel Way ($145,465)
- Marr Road – Gladstone Avenue to State Road 46 ($241,754)
- Gladstone Avenue – 10th Street to 17th Street ($423,253)
- Par 3 Drive – Fairlawn Drive to Rocky Ford Road ($208,382)
- Fox Pointe Drive – 29th Street to Post Horn Court ($70,630)
- Silver Fox Drive – Fox Pointe Drive to Fox Point Drive ($101,816)
- Fox Pointe Court – Fox Pointe Drive to Terminus (160’ west of Fox Pointe Dr.) ($30,484)
- Fox Hollow Court – 29th Street to Terminus (310’ south of 29th St.) ($60,147)
