Henry and Barbara Meredith of Hope celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by taking a trip to Myrtle Beach in August with their children and their spouses.
Mr. Meredith and the former Barbara Simmons were married Oct. 9, 1975, at Hope Moravian Church by the Rev. Al Harker.
Mr. Meredith is retired from Cosco and the National Guard.
Mrs. Meredith is a homemaker.

The couple have two children, Sarah (Eric) Pittman of Columbus and Michael (Heather) Meredith of Greenwood.
