Larry and Charlotte Short of Commiskey plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Coffee Creek Baptist Church in Paris Crossing.
Mr. Short and the former Charlotte Leveridge were married by the Rev. Winfred Winegar on Dec. 31, 1965, at Tea Creek Baptist Church Parsonage in Jennnings County.
Mr. Short retired from Cummins Inc. and from the Montgomery Township Trustee’s office.
Mrs. Short is a homemaker.
The couple have two children, David (Tracie) Short and Andrea (James) Redmond. They also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
