Stephanie Renee Gardner and Michael Paul Barnes, both of Columbus, announce their engagement.
Ms. Gardner is the daughter of Steve and Renee Gardner of Shelbyville. She is a 2007 graduate of Shelbyville High School and a 2011 graduate of Indiana State University and is employed as an accountant with Circle K.
Mr. Barnes is the son of Harold and Margaret Barnes of South County Road 100W. He is a 2002 graduate of Columbus East High School and a graduate of Purdue University where he earned an associate degree in 2007 and a bachelor’s degree in 2009. He is an engineer at Cummins Inc.
The wedding will be at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Explore Brown County, Harvest Hall in Nashville.
