Columbus Regional Health and Southern Indiana Surgery will have two free information sessions on obesity and bariatric surgery in February.
The sessions will be at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and Feb. 23 at Southern Indiana Surgery, 2325 18th St., Suite 220. The sessions will cover the causes of obesity, trends and quality of life issues. Misconceptions about bariatric surgery, surgery options, lifestyle implications and whether the surgery is covered by insurance also will be covered.
