Stacy M. Heagy and John F. Cherry, both of Columbus, announce their engagement.
Ms. Heagy is the daughter of James Slater of Wells, Vermont, and Rebecca Ponder of Columbus. She is a graduate of Hauser High School and is employed as a Columbus city bus driver.
Mr. Cherry is the son of John and Marion Cherry of Stockbridge, Georgia, and Jane Nolan of Louisville, Kentucky. He is a 2010 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration, and is a recovery services manager for the Indiana Lions Eye Bank.
