Ron and Kathy Panning of Chestnut Street plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends and special trips throughout the year.
Mr. Panning and the former Kathleen “Kathy” Martin were married Jan. 29, 1966, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Valparaiso by the Rev. Mack Goeglein.
Mr. Panning is a retired Cummins Inc. engineer and Mrs. Panning retired from Foundation For Youth where she was a youth worker.
The couple have three children, Laura Jeanette Panning Beggs, David Henry Panning and Mark Paul Panning. They also have seven grandchildren.
