Megan Kathleen Reichert of Greer, South Carolina, and Michael Franklin Carter of Chapin, South Carolina, announce their engagement.
Ms. Reichert is the daughter of Don and Marilyn Reichert of Greenville, South Carolina. She is a 2003 graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. She is an insurance specialist with her family’s financial firm.
Mr. Carter, the son of Dave and Karen Carter of East Clover Street, is an orthopedic sales rep and commander with Headquarters Company, 360th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) U.S. Army Reserve. He is a 1993 graduate of Hauser High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Microbiology.
The wedding will be at 1 p.m. April 16 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville.
