Larry and Jacqueline Speaker will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house given by their family from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 27 at the White Creek United Methodist Church, 6730 W. County Road 930S, Columbus.
Mr. Speaker and the former Jacqueline Boots were married on Nov. 26, 1966, at Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. H. P. Gaines Jr.
Mr. Speaker is retired from Reliance Electric.
Mrs. Speaker is a retired piano teacher and homemaker.
The couple have two children, Michael Speaker and Jennifer Speaker Lawrence. They also have five grandchildren.
