COLUMBUS
Sharon K. Stewart, 74, of Grand Avenue, died at 7:03 p.m. May 8, 2019, at her home.
Sharon was born July 10, 1944, in Columbus, daughter of Ora E. and Ruth E. Wolfe.
She retired from Rock Tenn and was a member of Flintwood Wesleyan Church. Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching wrestling.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tracey Carter officiating. Calling will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Jeff Nickerson, Mark (Rose) Nickerson, Robin (Roger) Bense, all of Columbus, Blanca A. Stewart of Austin, Indiana, Tereza A. Stewart and Jade A. Stewart, both of Columbus; her previous husband, F. David (Mary) Nickerson of Columbus; sisters, Carolyn Terry of Seymour and Barbara Bradtke of Columbus; grandchildren, Tyler Nickerson, Emily Greenlee, Zach Nickerson, Sydney Nickerson, Bridget Burnett, Shelby Bense, Taylor Bense, Nicholas Bense, Haven Griffin and Tristan Nickerson; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Marvin D. Wolfe and Robert “Bob” W. Wolfe; and a grandson, David Hunter Nickerson.
