Taylorsville resident arrested in stabbing incident

Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested a local man on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon after a stabbing was reported in Taylorsville.

Deputies were sent to the LaRae Apartment complex in Taylorsville at 5 a.m. Thursday about the incident.

When they arrived, deputies made contact with a 24-year-old male who said he had been attacked with a knife by Nathan Boesche, 20, 2583 W. LaRae Ave., deputies said.

Deputies went to Boesche’s apartment and Boesche was later arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon, deputies said.

The victim was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital where he was treated and released, deputies said.

Boesche was being held in the Bartholomew County Jail, jail officials said.

German Township Fire Department assisted with cleaning up blood in the apartment complex’s parking lot, deputies said.
