Two arrested after probation check in Clifford

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Two people were arrested after a probation check at a home in Clifford.

Jason Matthew Grider, 39, Clifford, was arrested at his residence Tuesday.

Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies assisting probation officers went to his home in the 8200 block of North Washington Street in Clifford for the check.

During the check, officers located a significant amount of narcotics, deputies said. Grider, who was on probation for about three months, after serving approximately 10 years on a narcotics manufacturing charge, was arrested and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on the following preliminary charges:

–Probation Violation
–Dealing Methamphetamine
–Maintaining a Common Nuisance
–Possession of Methamphetamine
–Possession of Heroin
–Possession of Marijuana
–Possession of a Controlled Substance
–Possession Legend Drug
–Possession Synthetic Drug
–Possession of Paraphernalia
Grider remains in the Bartholomew County Jail being held without bond.
Another occupant at the residence, Amy Rivera, 36, Clifford, was arrested on preliminary
charges of:
–Maintaining a Common Nuisance
–Possession of Methamphetamine
–Possession of Marijuana
–Possession of a Controlled Substance
–Possession of Paraphernalia
–Possession of a Synthetic Drug
–Possession of Legend Drug
She remains in jail in lieu of $91,000 bond.
