Terry and Linda McDaniel of Petersburg, Virginia, formerly of Seymour, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.
Mr. McDaniel and the former Linda Emily were married Nov. 20, 1970, in Clearspring, Indiana.
Mr. McDaniel is a retired power plant manager and Mrs. McDaniel is a retired registered nurse.
The couple have five children, Kerry Harbour, John (Karen) McDaniel, Kyle (Tara) McDaniel, Krista (Ryan) Sturt, and Kelly (Brad) Sulc; and 12 grandchildren.
