Karl and Sharleen Eichel of Columbus celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family party, and are planning a future trip to Italy and Croatia.
Mr. Eichel and the former Sharleen Klemke were married Dec. 19, 1970, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne by Pastor Theodore Taykowski.
Karl is the owner of Eichel Electric, LLC and Sharleen is a retired legal assistant for the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office.
The couple have two children, Aaron (Alyson) Eichel of Columbus and Zachary (Kristin) Eichel of Carmel.
