Karl and Sharleen Eichel of Columbus are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. A family party and trip to Italy and Croatia are planned for a future date.
Mr. Eichel and the former Sharleen Klemke were married December 19, 1970, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne by Pastor Theodore Taykowski.
Karl is the owner of Eichel Electric, LLC and Sharleen is a retired legal assistant for the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office.
The couple have two sons, Aaron (Alyson) Eichel of Columbus and Zachary (Kristin) Eichel of Carmel, and two granddaughters.
