David and Sharon Yeley of Columbus are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a small family gathering given by their children.
Mr. Yeley and the former Sharon Goldman were married June 5, 1971 at Bloomington Free Methodist Church in Bloomington by the Rev. Elmer Riggs and Rev. Dallas Collier.
Mr. Yeley is retired from IU Health and Mrs. Yeley is retired from Columbus Regional Hospital.
The couple have two children, Brian Yeley of Bloomington and Allison Stidam of Columbus, and five grandchildren.
