Panthers finish sixth

MADISON — Jennings County finished sixth with a 366 in Monday’s Madison Sectional at Sunrise Golf Course.

Brett Silvey led the Panthers with an 86. Jack George carded an 89, Jake Grider added a 95, Chad Gasper shot 96 and Tanner Stearns had a 105.

Austin (320), Madison (322) and Henryville (343) claimed the three qualifying spots to Thursday’s Providence Regional at Champions Pointe.

Trinity eighth, BC 10th

BLOOMINGTON — Trinity Lutheran finished eighth with a 397, and Brown County was 10th with a 463 in the Bloomington North Sectional at Cascades.

Jacob Sabotin led the Cougars with an 86. Cade Hill added a 95, Caleb Williams shot 107 and Preston Kovener had a 109.

Cooper VanNess led the Eagles with a 94. Clay Austin carded a 114, Bradley Arndt added a 127, Jordan Burnett shot 128 and Dylan Taylor had a 139.

Bloomington South (288), Bedford North Lawrence (301) and Bloomington North (315) claimed the regional qualifying spots.

Lancers take 12th

FRANKLIN — Edinburgh finished 12th with a 438 in the Franklin Sectional at The Legends.

Max Blandford led the Lancers with an 81. Trevor Moon carded a 112, Mason Calhoun added a 114, Keegan Smith shot 131 and Devyn Milburn had a 137.

Center Grove (304), Franklin (315) and Greenwood Christian Academy (332) claimed the regional qualifying spots.
