JDAI to host police session

Bartholomew County Circuit Court JDAI will host Improving Police & Community Relations from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Commons.

Box meals and snacks will be provided.

Developed by the Indiana State Police, this session is open to individuals 13 years of age and older. This program is specifically designed to promote a better understanding between the community and law enforcement. Through effective police community relations, the citizens can learn about their roles in crime prevention and what to expect from the police. In the same way, the police can better understand the community they serve and perform approaches to better address peace and order issues.
