Four high-ranking Tibetan Buddhist monks on a world peace tour began a five-day visit with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, building a sand mandala in the fellowship hall and conducting music, dance, chanting and teaching on Tibetan Buddhism and compassion.

The soon-to-be-released cultural tourism book, “The 100 Best Small Art Towns in America,” listed Columbus as the 56th best artistic community in the country.
