COLUMBUS
Pamela Hendry, 66, of Columbus passed from this life on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 8:32 a.m. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Pam was born on June 5, 1955, in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Bobby Dean and Gracie Louise Reeves Hendry. She was a 1973 graduate of Columbus High School and in 1994 she began working at Cummins where she was an Admin Analyst for 27 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Katie Cox of North Vernon and Amia Hendry of Nineveh; grandchildren, Gracie Cox and David Cox; fur grandbaby, Gracie; sisters-in-law, Marsha (Dan) Maynard and Judy Hendry; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Greg, Mart and Robert “Doug” Hendry; and a grandson, Lee Cox.
In keeping with Ms. Hendry’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
Services were entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Pam may be given through the funeral home to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
