SEYMOUR
Reita K. Voss, 79, of Seymour, passed away at 11:31 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was born in Bartholomew County, IN on May 25, 1942 to Carl E. Voss and Fawn McKinney Voss.
Reita was previously employed at C and G Tool in Jonesville and retired from Vectren after 39 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesville where she held many offices throughout the years. She was baptized in 1942 and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in 1956. Reita enjoyed scrapbooking, making cards and flower gardening.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Matthew Jung and Pastor Ed Keinath officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Reita will be laid to rest at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Jonesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
Survivors include her brother, Phillip (Sandy) Voss of Columbus, IN; nieces and nephews, Mark (Robin) Voss of Seymour, IN, Leigh Anne Voss of Columbus, IN, Matthew (Charissa Roberts) Voss of Williams, IN and Chris Voss of Brownstown, IN; She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl E. Voss and Fawn Beesley and a brother, Dennis Voss.
