COLUMBUS
Barbara Ann Snyder, 75, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Barbara was born in Columbus, Indiana, December 27, 1945, the loving daughter of Roy William and Betty L. Douglass Behrman.
Barbara worked at the Indiana Welfare Department retiring after 25 years of service.
She was a faithful and very active member of First Christian Church and was highly involved in the Emmaus Community. She enjoyed membership at Mill Race Center, and she loved to do crafts, exercise and attend church.
Barbara will be missed by her daughters, Tiffany D. Snyder of Columbus and Donna (Rick) Johnson of Columbus; granddaughters, Rikki Jo Johnson of Indianapolis and Hannah Johnson of Columbus; brother, William K. (Cheryl) Behrman of Gainesville, Florida; sister, Brenda L. (Billy) Martin of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Snyder; and her former husband, Jack Snyder.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street; Tyler Tolbert will officiate. A live stream of the funeral service may be viewed at barkesweaverglick.com.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 12 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Barbara will be laid to rest at the Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
