COLUMBUS
Marjorie “Margie” Myers, 75, of Columbus, passed away October 20, 2021 at her home.
Margie was born June 7, 1946 in Columbus, the daughter of Bill and Leda Burton Merchant. She married James D. Myers, who preceded her in death.
Margie enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Amy Burton and Shelly Findley both of Columbus; grandchildren Michael (Rachael) Burton, Trindy (Luis) Mejia, Mindy Smith, Elizabeth Holzhausen, and Dylan Carmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James; a daughter Chrissy Burton-Swift; a granddaughter Lynnie Burton; as well as siblings Joe Merchant, Valerie Rogers, and Debbie Botts.
The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh with Pastor Randy Denton officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Monday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
