PROVO, Utah
Amber Lianne White Robbins passed away in her home peacefully on October 23, 2021 after a long, arduous, courageous fight with cancer. She was 41 years old. Many people were drawn to Amber and impressed with her optimism for life and the love she easily shared. She still had a smile on her face even when she told people she was dying. When people came to visit Amber, they left uplifted and inspired. Amber loved to serve others; her hope is for that legacy to continue through her children.
Her death leaves a hole in many lives as she uplifted and inspired everyone who met her. She leaves her husband, Barton Robbins, and her two beautiful children, Eliza and Brigham.
To know Amber is to love her. She is most known for her smile and faith. She naturally balanced being a wife, mother, professional, and disciple of Christ. Amber always knew what she wanted and was determined to go after it. She was born in Columbus to Dennis and Sherrie White and grew up with her siblings; Jim (Miles), David (Juliet), Anna, Sarah (Ty), Aaron (Karina), and Daniel (Caroline). She attended Brigham Young University where she received a bachelor of art in history and a minor in zoology. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Soon after, she met Bart Robbins, and they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. They shared a wonderful life living in Georgia, Virginia, Indiana, and finally in Utah. Amber helped students navigate financial aid at University of Georgia, Ivy Tech Community College, and Brigham Young University.
Her memorial will be held Thursday, October 28 at 2 p.m. in Provo, Utah. In lieu of flowers, Amber wanted to provide Christmas for others, one of her favorite things.
