Jessica M. Estes, 32, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Jessica was born in Columbus, July 10, 1989 to Larry D. Estes and Pamela Blair Estes.
Jessica was a Christian and she had a strong belief in Jesus Christ. Jess loved going on cruises, driving on the backroads listening to music. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas. Her all time absolute favorite was Nightmare Before Christmas Everything!!! She loved doing makeup and her signature winged eyeliner look. Her favorite colors were pink, black and yellow, she loved seeing her baby girl in it. Jessica loved more than anything, being with her family and her baby girl Arabella.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral home with Pastor Gary Kave officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jessica M. Estes Memorial Fund.
Survivors include her parents; Larry and Pamela Estes; a daughter, Arabella Ortega of Columbus, IN; sisters, Christina (Steven) Holcomb of Columbus, IN, Amber (Andrew) Wunder of Columbus, IN, Samantha Estes of Brown County, IN and Kyla (Aaron) Crum of Columbus, IN; grandmother, Mildred Blair of Columbus, IN; nieces and nephews, Cayden Holcomb, Izaiah Holcomb, Sophia Holcomb, Selene Crum, Amelia Crum and Elena Crum; life-partner, Martin Ortega; aunts, Norma Estes, Glenna Jernigan; uncle, Michael (Jennifer) Estes all of Columbus, IN; cousins, Curt (Becky) Asher, Bradley Ward, Tazia Taylor, Hayley Anderson, Tiara Taylor, Jillian Estes, Kameron Jernigan, Zoey Jernigan and Heidi Estes all of Columbus, IN.
She was preceded in death by her grandpas, Norman Estes and Lawrence Blair; grandma, Maebelle Estes; Uncle, Dave Jernigan; cousins, Greg Proctor and Chelsea Boston.
