GREENSBURG — South Decatur jumped out to a 56-27 halftime lead and went on to claim its first win of the season, an 82-54 victory against Switzerland County.
Hunter Johnson poured in 40 points to lead the Cougars (1-1). Jacob Scruggs added 16.
Columbus Christian falls
DUGGER — Dugger Union hit a free throw with 4 seconds remaining, and Columbus Christian missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer in a 58-57 Southern Roads Conference loss.
Gabe Ridder led the Crusaders (1-1) with 21 points. Payton Rehlander added 17.
