Cougars stop skid, knock off Panthers

KNIGHTSTOWN — South Decatur snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 45-32 girls basketball win Monday at Knightstown.

The Cougars (2-9) trailed 9-8 after one quarter, but rallied to take a 17-12 lead at halftime. They extended the margin to 32-19 after three quarters.

Kiley Best led South Decatur with 23 points. Brayley Sundal added seven.
