Larence ‘Bud’ Trobaugh Jr.

FREETOWN

Larence “Bud” Trobaugh Jr., 77, of Freetown, passed from this life Friday, January 28, 2022, at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Mr. Trobaugh was born November 29, 1944, in Celina, Tennessee, the son of Larence Trobaugh Sr. and Inez Cross Trobaugh.

Bud married Bonnie L. Sullivan, August 1, 1962.

He retired from National Linen.

He enjoyed bowling, playing and coaching softball, IU basketball and playing sports with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 60 years; his children, Andy (Patty) Trobaugh of Elizabethtown, Rick (Leona) Trobaugh of Columbus and Kim Pike of Freetown; grandchildren, Tasha (Brian) Smith, Blake (Natalie) Trobaugh, Lacy Chandler-Trobaugh, Theron Trobaugh and Tylor Trobaugh; great-grandchildren, Trent Smith, Lynn Chandler, Lainey Chandler and Saul Chandler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gene Trobaugh.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Becks Grove Christian Church with John Miller officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and 10:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the church.

Burial will be at Christiansburg Cemetery.
