SHELBYVILLE — Southwestern (Shelby) jumped out to an 18-8 lead after one quarter Tuesday night and went on to hand Hauser a 54-44 Mid-Hoosier Conference defeat.
Bryce Bates led the Jets (7-10, 1-4) with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Eli Miller scored 12 points, and Koby Johnson added seven points and nine rebounds.
