The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Bartholomew and surrounding counties due to heavy rain predicted tonight into Thursday.
The flood watch is in effect for Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson and Shelby counties which could receive up to 2 inches of rain.
The National Weather Service has also issued a wind advisory for all of central Indiana from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, with south winds of 20 to 25 mph predicted with gusts up to 45 mph.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and tree limb damage and power outages are possible.
