COLUMBUS
Benjamin W. Stevens, 38, of Columbus, passed from this life at 8:13 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2022, at the Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Stevens was born October 6, 1983, in Columbus, the son of Alvin A. Stevens and Becky S. Shaw Moats.
He married Lynne A. Newcomb August 20, 2011.
He was a member of Northview Assembly of God and was formerly employed with the Xfinity.
He was an outdoorsman’s and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Lynne A. Stevens; children, Jakobi Noble and Jaxson Stevens; mother and step-father, Becky &Bill Moats; father and step-mother, Alvin &Susanne Stevens; siblings, Natalie (Brent) Ogle, Nathan Stevens and Matthew (Danielle) Stevens; step-son, Jacob Noble; grandchildren, Nevin Noble and Raylin Noble; nieces, Brielle Stevens and Clarissa Ogle and a nephew, Trey Ogle all of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by an aunt, Linda Hill and his grandparents.
The funeral will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Randy Burton officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
