EDINBURGH — Atterbury Fish And Wildlife Area will host an open house on Wednesday for participants to talk with staff about current projects and how to volunteer.
The open house will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Atterbury Fish and Wildlife Area office at 7970 S. Rowe St., Edinburgh.
Volunteer opportunities include trash pickup, invasive species removal, painting and Adopt-A-Lake. Minors are welcome to attend when accompanied by an adult.
The area provides quality outdoor recreational opportunities while maintaining 4,950 acres of upland game habitat, marsh, running creeks and shallow impoundments.
