COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Dorothy C. VonFange Isaacs, 75, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Majestic Care in Connersville, Indiana.
Dorothy was born in Columbus, December 13, 1946, the loving daughter of Aaron and Emma G. Arnholt VonFange. On April 10, 1993, Dorothy was united in marriage to Ralph Isaacs; he preceded her in death March 4, 2010.
Dorothy graduated from Indiana Business College with a degree in accounting. She retired from the business office at the Columbus Regional Hospital after many years of service. She was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the church choir.
Dorothy is survived by her brother-in-law, Roland Isaacs of Columbus and many cousins.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Emma VonFange; her husband, Ralph Isaacs; and her brother, Arthur VonFange.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church; the Reverend Mark Teike will officiate. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ralph in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran School of the donor’s choice of charities.
