Local man arrested after shots-fired call

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested a local man Sunday after multiple calls about shots fired in the 2000 block of West Brookdale Drive at 10:17 p.m.

Braeden Berger, 20, Columbus, was detained and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, illegal consumption of alcohol, criminal recklessness with a firearm, pointing a firearm and intimidation with a deadly weapon.

He was being held without bond in the Bartholomew County Jail, jail officials said.
