COLUMBUS
Billy “Bill” Joe Foley, 67, of Columbus passed from this life on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 9:15 p.m. at his home.
Bill was born on October 6, 1955, in Bartholomew County the son of Durward C. and Goldie B. Conrad Foley.
He worked over 15 years as a security guard with Columbus Security and enjoyed fishing, working on his truck, going to yard sales and flea markets, and watching Halloween movies. Above all he loved being with his children, grandchildren, and family.
Survivors include his children, Robert A. (Elizabeth) Foley, Charity N. (Justin Barwick) Foley, Brandon K. Foley, and Derek C.P. Foley all of Columbus; grandchildren, Brookelynn Tudor, Jonathon Foley, Lilith Foley; siblings, Vicky (Michael) Richardson, Steven (Linda) Foley, Stanley (Rachael) Foley; life-long friend, Kimberley “Kim” Foley of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Teresa Foley; half-sister, Carol Thompson; and grandfather, Rural Dalton Foley.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Jim Pursley officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home.
