Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. school board will meet at Columbus North High School on Monday instead of the administration building.
The board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be held in the school’s cafeteria; it will also be livestreamed via YouTube.
Communications coordinator Josh Burnett said he believes the change of venue is due to the number of North students who will be recognized for their athletic achievements during the meeting.
Additionally, the evening’s agenda currently includes a best practice presentation from Mt. Healthy Elementary, a quarterly financial report and a report on the school corporation’s Employee Assistance Program.
Items up for approval include: the Employee Assistance Program, a Guaranteed Maximum Price for educational improvements, an agreement to participate in the Motor Fuel Budgeting Program of the Indiana Bond Bank, the donation of obsolete Chromebooks to the transportation department, a resolution for the 2023 Tax Anticipation Warrant and a health trust broker/consultant services agreement. Board agendas are subject to change.
The school board’s next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 12 and is currently set to be held in the administration building’s Terrace Room.
