A dusting of about an inch of light snow covered Columbus and Bartholomew County on Saturday, leading to pretty scenes in neighborhoods but some slick spots on the roads.
Indiana State Police troopers were busy Saturday responding to crashed on I-65 and I-74, many of them occurring on bridges and overpasses, which tend to freeze first.
The troopers asked drivers to be cautious when driving on bridges, and to clear all snow from your vehicle’s windows, mirrors and headlights before heading out.
