Mrs. Sharon Lee Morgan Koontz, age 77, of Commiskey, Indiana entered this life on February 6, 1945 in Trimble County, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late Russell Lee and Ogle Doris Mahoney Morgan. She grew up in Columbus, Indiana and attended Columbus High School, receiving a GED. She moved to Commiskey in 2000. On May 30, 1998, she was united in marriage to David Lee Koontz in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Sharon retired from Wal-Mart in June, 2013 after 13 years in the photo lab department. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, yard work, reading and crocheting. Sharon died on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 6:28 p.m. at her home near Commiskey, Indiana. Sharon will be missed by her loving husband, David Koontz of Commiskey, Indiana; her loving son, Randy Wilson and his wife Kellie of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughters, Dawn Cox of Madison, Indiana, Candie Maddox and her husband Aaron of Madison, Indiana; her 15 grandchildren, 27-great grandchildren, 5-great great grandchildren and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Lee Morgan, her mother, Ogle Doris Mahoney Morgan, her son, Richard Lee Cox, died August 15, 2012, her brother, Gerald Morgan, and her sister, Tina Dee. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. by Pastor Scott Kollmann, at the Morgan &Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Friends may visit Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Morgan &Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
