ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — Tyler Duncan carded a 5-over-par 75 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 145th place in the RSM Classic.
The Columbus North graduate, whose lone win on the PGA Tour came in the 2019 RSM Classic, shot 1-over 36 on the front nine and 4-over 39 on the back on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club.
Cole Hammer leads the tournament at 8-under 64, while Ben Griffin is one shot back at 7-under 65. Both of those golfers played Sea Island’s Plantation Course on Thursday.
