Keith Dennis Roy, 66, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Keith was born November 2, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Norman Thomas and Joan Ann DeGunia Roy.
Mr. Roy worked at Dorel Juvenile Group for 15 years as an operator. He found enjoyment in helping others and was always willing to offer a helping hand. Keith was also a very active AA member. He will be missed by his brothers and sister.
Survivors include his siblings, Douglas (Linda) Roy, Chris Roy, Linda (Michael) Shive, Scott Roy; mother, Joan Ann Roy, all of Illinois; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Thomas Roy and brother, Brian Thomas Roy.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Deacon Bill Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. A live stream of the memorial service may be viewed at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at barkesweaverglick.com.
Inurnment will take place at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana, Illinois at a later date.
