COLUMBUS, INDIANA
William Wayne “Bill” Wise, 67, of Columbus, passed away on December 2, 2022. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. He was born May 9, 1956 in Columbus, the son of Leonard Lucas Wise and Dorothy Mae Arney Wise. He married Tammy Compton on September 2, 1989 and she preceded him in death on December 20, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Friday December 9, 2022 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Hacker officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest next to his wife Tammy in Garland Brook Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Bill is survived by his son, Shane Wise and his sisters, Margaret Jordan, Peggy Parkerson, Cheryl (Carl) Sanders and Chastity (Tim) Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Tammy and his sisters, Melinda Lawson and Barbara Merrill.
