EDINBURGH
Charlotte M. Pickett, 82 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away November 21, 2022 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, In-Patient Facility in Columbus, Indiana. She was born July 15, 1940 in Fredericksburg, Indiana. She was the daughter of Thomas S. and Stella M. (Greenlee) Booker. She married Lindsay W. “Lin” Pickett, Jr. They were married on December 20, 1971 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2008.
She is survived by sons, Anthony Lin “Tony” (Robin) Pickett of Avon, Indiana and Mark (Lisa) Pickett of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughters, Caren S. (Eugene) Colwell of Martinsville, Indiana, Nancy S. Pickett of Edinburgh, Indiana, Mary R. Hudson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Melissa “Missy” (Brian) Reynolds of Tyler, Texas, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and sisters, Janet Haycox of Alabama, Mary McDonald of Indiana, Faye Nelson of Indiana, and Brenda Nichols of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Thomas F. “Tom” Pickett, daughters, Linda Miller and Marcille “Marty” Canter, granddaughter, Angel Dawn Pickett, brother, Alan Booker, sisters, Jean Dennie, Margaret Harmon, Frankie Renfro, Bonita Wright, and Judy Murphy, and six half-sisters.
Charlotte was a member of the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing games, and helping others.
A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Mark Myers at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
